COOK COUNTY, Ill. — Cook County authorities announced Tuesday a suburban woman was charged after investigators found more than 1,400 counterfeit luxury items worth $2.1 million inside her Bellwood home in mid-April.Roynette Cavanaugh, 54, with evidence collected by the Cook County Sheriff's Office and DHS.Roynette Cavanaugh, 54, was charged with unauthorized use of trademark and selling 500-2,000 items, which is a class two felony, on April 19. BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A woman who was a victim of childhood sexual abuse has been awarded $100 million in a jury verdict, the Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria LLP law office announced Tuesday. The settlement is believed to be the largest in New York State history for a lawsuit filed under the Child Victims Act. Tom Menas, the former Albany Empire coach, tells NEWS10 Sports Director Griffin Haas he has agreed in principle to return as the team's head coach. Menas won back to back championships for the Empire, but was fired on April 6th, just 10 days before the team's season opener.
